Storage of coins
What you should NOT do: Using old plastic coin album pages. The coins will turn green and the chemicals contained in the plastic will corrode the coin surface. Modern plastic album pages are usually chemically neutral and somewhat stiffer in consistency. Ask your coin dealer before buying such album pages.
If your coins mean more to you there are special means of storage: coin boxes, cabinets whose trays are lined with satin or velvet. Coins may be kept loose, in frames or capsules in such coxes for years.
